Well, I'm 30 weeks along now and getting larger and more emotional. I just can't imagine being a mommy. I have days where I break down crying (mostly days following our birthing classes), and days where I get into cleaning/organizing mode (am I nesting or just trying to get things done while I can??) I have such a range of thoughts...."I can't possibly give birth", "I can't wait to meet this little one", "Will I be an ok mom?", "Josh, what are we doing?????", "I love my little one already!"
We got to take a tour of the hospital the other night and it was VERY nice. Josh kept saying, "WOW, this is nice. It doesn't even feel like a hospital!", while I was thinking "Yes, it's nice, but I still have to birth a child here!!!!"
I think baby is going to have such a fun personality and can't wait to see who he/she looks like! Baby is super active and super strong. I was told to start a kick count and baby is suppose to get in 10 movements in 2 hours or less....my smart little baby only needs 5 minutes to get those 10 kicks in (yeah, my baby is advanced!!)
We are supposed to have a few visitors over the next month which will hopefully make these next weeks fly by. We shall see. Hope everyone is doing well!!

WOW! 30 weeks?! yippee!!!
and, yes, all those feelings are totally normal. :) and there are more "fun" ones after you have the baby!
and for the record, you are going to be a GREAT mom!!!!!
Okay. Let's try this again. I can't believe you are going to be a mom, Steph. How exciting! You will be a great mom. Hope things continue to go well as you get closer to THE BIRTH-DAY of your little one. Love you guys.
Hang in there! Can't wait to know if you are having a boy or a girl so I can get to knitting!!!
You'll be a great mom. You know why? Because you love your baby. Simple as that. You want the best for him/her and have already bonded! All your feelings are normal. The unknown factor can get scary when you've never had baby before (and even after you've been thru it) but I promise it is so, so worth it! I remember feeling more anxious after our birthing classes. At the point you're at, I was just wanting to have my baby in my arms and not in my body!!! (Except Jake, since he was so quickly on Brie's heels!)
