2 months old!

Here are a few recent pictures of our 2 month old. As you can see our little Natalie loves to smile! She is learning how to hold onto her rattle and she likes to put her hands up to her mouth and lick them...the girl loves moving her tongue around!

Josh brought me an iced vanilla latte and yummy bagel sandwich from my favorite coffee place this morning and he is going to make me dinner tonight! It's been a great first Mother's Day.

Happy 7th Birthday Caitlyn!! I can't believe it has been 7 years since you came into our family. We love you and wish we could be with you on your special day! I hope you can come visit us this summer so we can catch sand crabs, play Wii and eat ice cream together. =-)

One month old!

Little Natalie Grace is now a month old! She started giving me smiles 2 days ago and I just about melted from the level of cuteness!! Other things new in the life of Natalie: she is eating like crazy, in now 9 1/2 lbs, is starting to coo and make other cute sounds, and enjoys looking at her books! We LOVE our little girl!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I woke up this morning to Josh and Natalie hanging out on the couch and 2 Easter baskets sitting on the table...one for me and one for Natalie. Apparently when Josh told me he went to some coffee place the other day to relax and read, he wasn't telling the truth. He was really out shopping for us girls!! Josh got me some gift certificates so I can get pampered and some candy. He got Natalie some very cute accessories!! We even dressed her up today in her very first dress from Paul and Kathy!

Two weeks old

Natalie is more than 2 weeks old now! She still has her days and nights a bit mixed up, but other than that she is doing really good!! We went to a new mommy group and a new mom support group this week. Natalie did great. She slept the entire time, except when I woke her up to eat. It was great to get out and meet other people going through the same stage that we are.

She is beginning to have more awake time now, which is fun for me and Josh to see. I'm looking forward to seeing her smile on purpose, but even the accidental ones are REALLY cute!

I should probably wash some bottles and straighten up a bit while Josh and Natalie are asleep....but instead I think I'm going to watch a little "What Not To Wear". Speaking of "What Not To Wear", I think I'm getting pretty close to the nominees on the show. All I seem to wear these days are my comfy pants and a tank top and then I throw my hair up in a pony tail. Oh well! Enjoy the pictures. =-)

Josh and I have really been enjoying the last few days as a new little family. Natalie is having more awake time and we are getting out of the house everyday! She has already changed so much since she was born. Josh is an amazing daddy and husband! He has been taking the night shifts with Natalie so I can catch up on sleep and I take over in the early morning so he can sleep. I think we make a pretty good team. =-)
